1.7 Over view
Right now, Customs uses traditional mechanical seal for cargo (or container) supervising on the way, which must be handled full manually during a customs' check. For a busy customs office, this method is time consuming and less efficient. Otherwise the mechanical seal has many disadvantages as following:
E-lock system is developed to improve the cargo in-transmit monitoring. Based on advanced RFID wireless technology and micro control technology, the system will ensure the security of transition between the port and special district as well as improve the transportation efficiency.. It is mainly applied to the container transfer monitoring, especially for Customs supervising.
